“Neil has completed several pieces of work for us and has outperformed against our expectations each time. He designed and built an oak bookcase for our study, with an integrated radiator cover. He has also replaced two floors for us to date, laying herringbone engineered oak for us in one room and totally replacing our hall floor - where he removed all of the existing structure, rebuilt the joists, laid board and insulation, and finished up with herringbone again.
We are completely thrilled with all of the work that Neil has done. From start to finish, he paid attention to the details, communicated with us, offered advice where we needed it, worked cleanly, and finished each job to perfection. Neil was always here when he said he would be and worked whatever hours he needed to in order to complete the job on time. He is always polite, friendly and considerate. “Neil installed a custom-fitted set of oak cupboards and three floating shelves in our house. We have used Neil for various small carpentry jobs in the past and he also helped install a shower room in our previous house, but this was the first time he has built a complete set of furniture for us.
We wanted the pieces to look like our existing oak furniture and Neil was very helpful talking us through the various possibilities and their costs. When the time came for Neil to install the furniture, he was professional, on time and always tidy. The furniture itself is of the highest quality and the match to our existing furniture is perfect.
